The Caminero Lab had another amazing academic year! We had some sad yet exciting news as our fourth-year undergraduate students and staff have moved on to new venues. Also, we have new undergraduate and graduate students who have joined our team in September.
A belated congratulations to our 2022-2023 undergraduate students: Hassaan Abbasi, Gavin Yuen, Niki Patel, and Angelica Estevez. They have completed their undergraduate degrees at McMaster in April! Our research coordinator, Dominika has moved on to new opportunities as well. We are extremely proud of their achievements in the Caminero Lab, and we wish them all the best with their future endeavours!
We are happy to announce 4 new additions to the Caminero Lab. First, we have Pranshu Muppidi, who received the Farncombe Summer Studentship Award. Pranshu is a third-year undergraduate student in Biochemistry Department and will be conducting his project course with us in September. Next, we have Cynthia Ling, who is a fourth-year undergraduate student starting her thesis in September.
We have a new Masters, Kelly Kan and Ph.D student, Peter Hall in the lab. Kelly completed her undergraduate in Medical Sciences at Western University. She is co-supervised with Dr. Elena Verdu. Peter Hall completed his undergraduate in Biochemistry at Queens University and Masters in Biochemistry at Western University.
